OUR BRAND

The city of Ypsilanti has a an important place in the history of our country. This is where the original Rosie The Riveters rolled up their sleeves and kept a B-24 Liberator rolling out of Willow Run’s assembly plant every hour during WWII, and also a stop on the Underground Railroad.

Ypsilanti played a key role in creating America’s “Arsenal of Democracy,” and has been an integral part of Michigan’s auto industry since 1932.

The pride we have in our city is shown with Rosie The Riveter on the back of every bottle. Each hand labeled and numbered to show that we have the same commitment to our Craft

Our branding and incorporates the Ypsilanti Water Tower, a significant local landmark and other other references unique to Ypsilanti . By including the distinctive silhouette of the water tower, the logo blends the city's historical roots with a modern identity. The Ypsilanti Water Tower, designed by William R. Coats in 1890, was a key part of the city's waterworks project. It was not only a water storage facility but also generated electricity for street lamps.

While we have a very…distinct…water tower in Ypsilanti, we know that almost every town across the country has a water tower that is part of local folklore and memories. We want our spirits to evoke those feelings and help you appreciate your new “Water Tower Nights”

  • The building where our distillery is located was built in the mid-1800s.
